gift card improperly used - gasoline station - Esso

I received 4 cards $200.00 from Carter GM dealership in Burnaby, B.C. I have successfully used 2 cards. While buying gas at Huntingdon Esso at 32375 Huntington Rd in Abbotsford, B. C. on May 19, 2014 I showed the card to the lady in the station but said I didn't think it would take $50. She said that was ok and to go ahead. My car took $35.00. When I went back in the lady said my receipt would show $50 but there would be a residual $15 when I next used the card. Today, May 25 I used it at the Ladner Trunk Rd, Delta and there was NO RESIDUAL on the card.

What can you do to help me with this problem. I have the receipts from both transactions.
